1300 Kinglong light buses, which set a new export record, were shipped to Egypt from Xiamen Port, and the order was the biggest one of China light buses exported for recent three years.
KingLong developed a kind of high-end tourism bus model participated in the 2011 International Automobile Exhibition in Macao and were appreciated by the visitors which will be helpful to the development at the Southeast Asia market.
On October 28th, 2011, 100 units of King Long XMQ6106G city buses went to Shanghai for shipment to Africa from Shaoxing. These buses would be sent to Guinea at the end of November to improve local public transportation.
The Chinese bus producer King Long is displaying two new models for the European market on his stand at Busworld. The XMQ6120AGD is a three-door city bus with a low floor and the XMQ6129Y is a high-deck coach based on the XMQ6127. King Long regards itself as one of the biggest bus and coach producers in China. They are definitely one of the biggest exporters. The company has been active on the European market since 2005 and has a European type approval for no less than eight models.
On October 23rd, 2011, Minister of Economy and Reform Ministry of Belgium Vincent Van Quickenborne, along with Chairman of BAAV Luc, visited King Long booth and General Manager of Overseas Marketing Department of King Long XIE, Weiguo gave a detailed account of the display buses.

On 18th October 2011, the 4th Biennial Asia Pacific Natural Gas Vehicles Association International Conference & Exhibition (ANGVA 2011) was held in Beijing, China, which is themed by “natural gas vehicles power clearer future”, and there are more than 500 delegates and 300 exhibitors from over 30 countries and regions attending this exhibition.

Recently, Fujian Province Communications Department revealed the list of the first recommended models for the rural passenger transport and six King Long models such as XMQ6501AEG4 light bus are involved.
Xiamen “Quality Improvement Award for Export Enterprises” award presentation ceremony was held on September 26th, 2011 and three local enterprises, including King Long, became the first winners. Deputy Director of General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China YANG, Gang; Director of Department of Human Resources ZHANG, Qinrong and Xiamen Mayor LIU, Keqing awarded the three enterprises.
